Darkstar narrowed her eyes, anger kindling slowly in them. At the comment on Solar and Night, she almost lost it. "You really mention my great-grandmother? Night the Great? And my great-grandmother's best friend?" Realizing she'd just revealed her secret, she unsheathed long claws and scraped them against the ground. "Since when did I refuse to Creamfoot?" She asked, half-to herself. "And since when did Creamfoot refuse to me?" Growling, she raised her eyes to the darkening sky and sat down. "I will train Pouncekit, once he is old enough." She decided finally, looking back down and staring at Pouncekit with an unnerving deep blue gaze.

Creamfoot sat down again, "Like he said, you can train him now, just make sure to use sheathed claws and stay inside camp," Building up here courage, she looked at the rage in her leader's eyes. "I'm too over-protective about kits, it's what I do, care for kits," Licking Pouncekit to make him look nicer, she added "But it won't be long," Please Solarclan, watch over my precious Pouncekit.

Why does she like being a queen? Darkstar wondered, eyes flaming up but then dying down. "As you wish." She half-snapped, turning around and flicking Pineleaf's pelt as she departed.

Creamfoot sighed, she didn't want Darkstar to be angry at her, looking pleadingly at Pineleaf, "You gave him herbs for strength, will that do enough for him to start training? Just a little bit from sunrise to sun-high?" Hoping that her estimation was correct, she asked Pouncekit if he would do the training. But he already answered me

Pineleaf nodded her head, "he may become an apprentice now, just ask Darkstar for a ceremony, I would happily do it." Pineleaf knew that Darkstar would be happy t have an apprentice. So she went out of the nursery and back into her den.
