Darkstar padded into the clearing, broad shoulder pacing well. Flicking her tail as a sign for NightClan to scatter, she bunched up her muscles and landed on top of The Jade Tree. The emeralds and jades felt smooth and cold underneath her paws. NightClan was the first Clan here. Darkstar was happy about that.

Pineleaf walked just behind her sister, Darkstar, before signaling with her tail for her apprentice, Fallenpaw, to follow to the place sheltered by the emeralds and jades, where the medicine cats gathered. She searched the clearing, Nighclan was the only clan here. Only a few cats were here. Should we be gathering,even before the clans have revived from the great sickness?
